Bailey Brokerage & Consulting currently represents real estate investors and developers, as well as business clients in related fields. Mr. Bailey is the Director of Project Development for My Generation Energy, Inc., a solar development and installation firm, where he is developing large, ground-mounted solar arrays. He is also the commerical broker and lead consultant for Forestdale Village, a Cape-style mixed-use village now under development in Sandwich.

Chris received the Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation in 2006. CCIM Institute provides the highest level of education in financial and market analysis of commercial real estate for the commercial investment real estate practitioner.

Economic Development:
Chris initiated Sandwich’s development and adoption of a new Comprehensive Plan, and was the Chairman of a Task Force, leading to the fomation of the non-profit Sandwich Economic Initiative Corporation. The corporation was recently signed into law, and the Board was seated in May 2010. For his efforts, the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce awarded Chris the 2009 Merrell Award for Community Service. Previously, he was on the Board of the Bourne Financial Development Corporation during early stage planning for the revitalization of Buzzards Bay. As a consultant to the Falmouth EDIC, Chris contributed to the creation of Raymond Technology Park and the Regional Technology Development Corporation. Chris is also a current Member of the Board of Directors for the Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod & the Islands.

Prior to moving to Cape Cod, Chris had a 12 year career as an actor and singer in New York City. He performed on Broadway as well as national and international touring productions, major regional companies, and summer stock shows. His wife Courtenay Harrington-Bailey was also a performer, and now teaches Dramafun! – theater classes for kids ages 4 -12. They live in Sandwich with their two children.
